I’m so glad you are here! I’m Robin, mother of 2, military spouse, woman of God, Crossfit enthusiast, and lover of creative cakes. It is such a pleasure to have you over to my playground, where we get to interact and you can absorb some knowledge!
I am a self-taught baker and cake designer. A born and raised Georgia peach with a flair for details and cakes that impersonate something else. I began making cakes in 2011, after my second child was born, as a hobby to keep busy. It has since morphed into what it is today. I have traveled the world with my family while my husband has and continues to serve this country.
The premise of Dessert Imposters is to turn cakes into masterpieces by presenting them in disguise. Cakes don’t have to be tiered to be impressive and beautiful. This blog will allow me to share what I’ve learned and discovered with you! You deserve it. My parents always taught me to share, so that’s what I intend to do; share and leave an impact on my community by inspiring others to learn, grow, and achieve.
There are no mistakes, all things happen for a reason. You are here and my hope is that you leave this blog having learned something you didn’t know before. That’s how we grow, right? So come back and visit often and we can grow together!
